Next, get some parchment paper and place it on top of the powders. Press it down gently and slightly wiggle to blend and move the powders a bit.
Now, the fun part... let's start heating it up! As you cover the powders with the parchment, keep the heat tool running over it until the powders melt down together.
Be patient as it might take you some time to completely melt them. But you know what, you won't be bored because it's actually pretty fun! It's almost like melting sugar and making colorful candy!
Once you make sure that it's all melted, carefully pull the parchment paper up. The parchment will then pick up some of that melted powder and you'll get this lovely mixed-up effect. Make sure you pull it out while still wet, otherwise it'll be harder for the parchment to pick it up.
You'll have two splash shapes, one in the parchment and another in the craft paper.
Start extracting it out from the parchment. Carefully bend and pull the parchment away from the melted powder to separate. It might be a bit harder to pull the one in the craft paper because it'll be stuck more, but it should come off too!
This is how your splash melted embossing powder would look like! It's such a unique design that makes it a perfect piece for your card!
Now all you have to do is place it on your card, add a little embellishment, and you're good to go!
Try this technique out and play around with different embossing powder colors to mix up!
Happy cardmaking!
