Simple and Quick Cardmaking Idea With Old Letter Stickers

As crafters, we tend to collect lots of stickers in our stash that usually end up unused. For me, this is especially true with letter stickers!

So for today's cardmaking tip, let's make use of those old letter stickers at the bottom of your stash! In under five minutes, you'll be able to create this lovely card!

Step 1

To start, you need two card stocks of different colors. As you can see below, I'm using a brown and yellow card stock which contrasts each other really well!

Cut the card stock into your preferred size and have one color smaller so it can sit at the center. It should look like this:

Now, find all your letter stickers and bring them out. Select the ones that you think would complement the colors of your card stock best. For me, I have this mint green lettering and a light brown set as well.

Step 3

Next, decide what your main sentiment would be. It could be any word that is short enough but will stand out alongside all the other letters we will add later on.

Using my green stickers, I spelled out the word 'LOVE' and adhered it to the center of the card. You can choose any word you like, depending on the theme of your card.

Here's a tip: If you have a missing letter, you can substitute it with a number. In my case, since I don't have the letter 'O', I used a zero and it works perfectly!

Step 4

Now that we have our focus word, we can add the other stickers around it for added decoration.

I randomly attached my brown stickers and numbers around my card. Place them around as you like, but I suggest putting them in clusters.

Instead of using random letters and numbers, you can try putting in initials or dates that is relevant to the recipient of your card.

And that's it! All you had to do is stick some stickers and you already have this lovely finished card!
