DIY Card Making with Sentiment Tags

A sentiment tag is one of the simplest and easiest technique to add a more personalized touch to your layout.

For today's tip, I am going to show you how to make really funky sentiment tags to add to your lovely card!

Step 1:

All you need are: a stamp title of your choice, paper, cardstock, fine black pen, and archival ink.

Let's begin our simple yet funky card!

Step 2:

Get the stamp of your choice and ink it up using your archival ink, then stamp it at the center of your tag.

As you can see, I've got a lovely "happy days" stamp and I also have three small papers in which I stamped on.

Step 3:

Once you're done stamping, get your fine black pen and doodle around the stamped area.

For my first tag, I made dots in the corner and added a few lines.

For the second one, I made it a little bit more modern and added loads of lines along the side.

For the third one, I just made bigger dots to make it look like it's pinned on.

Quick tip: You can pretty much do whatever you like. You don't have to be really good in drawing. Just follow your instinct, keep it simple and free hand!

Step 4:

You can now add your simple but beautiful tags to your cards. Here are a few samples that I've made:
